I was hoping for a little feedback. In our twenty years, I have avoided a specific number of years request (like 30) if there isn't a conveyance to bring it forward from. Recently I have more animate responses saying the won't approve a fee increase and that they want to stop at thirty years. My main concern is liability.
If they want to bring title forward from 1994 but the property owner acquired the subject property in 1968, I am worried something may be missed. Am I being overly cautious? How do you protect yourselves from any possible liability issues.
