A while ago, I posted a couple of hypothetical questions - one on recording statutes and the other on survivorship. Today I have new one... on life estates.
Alan owns a parcel of real estate. He conveys it to Betty and Carla reserving a life estate for himself. Betty, as duly appointed attorney-in-fact for Alan, conveys his life estate to the Family Trust. How is title to the real estate now vested (who owns what interest)?
