In PA, I know of a situation where an abstracting company with a licensed title agent was issuing a title opinion and was told that was unauthorized. So they had to rename it title report. It worries me sometimes that the wording you use could make the difference. Some companies have their own forms for you to fill out, while others want you to send a report. My attorney has not advised of anything wrong with this, but I was wondering if anyone else has had any problems with this.
