That sounds like a good "hands on" class. I took some paralegal courses here in Ohio and they were not very good from a title standpoint. The only abstracting related course was a general real estate class that was all in the class room and very light on detail. We discussed general things like warranty deeds and mortgages, but the class mostly dealt with landlord/tennant disputes and the like.
We have had two graduates from that program here and neither worked out. They thought they were capable becuse they had that paralegal degree, but they needed a lot of training that they just weren't all that receptive to.
I wish we had some good classes around here. Let me know what you think of the course, if you take it.
