Once this company has succeeded in getting a network of vendors to lower their price, what next? The only way their service remains viable is to start over and get even lower prices from other vendors so they can continue to offer their "consulting" services.
It is a never ending cycle of lower and lower prices. As people begin to drop prices for these types of companies and all of the fees have leveled out at a lower rate, the next round starts... pretty soon we aren't making enough money to finance the steam off of a free lunch.
I don't care how much volume these companies promise, the trend of lowering fees is a downward spiral and we all lose.
