I don't have a one liner yet, but I am concerned about a few things. Some attorneys in my area (PA) are not very thrilled with us abstractors out on our own. They would like to see everything go through them. But as I said, I also worked for an attorney as an abstractor and that was my job, they did not do the abstracting. What if trying to set something up, creates some kind of stipulation that you have to meet such tough requirements that you have to be a lawyer. Who is going to enforce the guidelines? I am not sure who enforces the Pennsylvania Land Title Association and how that works? or ALTA, does anyone know???
