I am replying to this only to set the record straight. First of all Pete is right about one thing. Some of our turn around times were as much as 10 days (a condition made known to Examnet prior to accepting any orders.) This is due to the fact that all of their orders for the month were given to us on the same day. I said we could not adhere to our turnaround times in fairness to our other clients and I was told that that was not a problem. Also Pete did not mention that on several occasions we drove in excess of 250 miles to do a single title search for $45 as a courtesy to him. Also our business relationship was terminated by me for non payment. If our work was so shoddy, why did he not find someone else. I know if I was unsatisfied with a vendors work, I would replace him. Also, I have no idea what he is talking about walking in a recording. I have never recorded anything for Examnet. LOOK AT MY INVOICES PETE. DO YOU SEE A CHARGE FOR A RECORDING? And Pete, by your own admission you admit discrepancies in your payments. First you say you paid me $4884.25 then you say all checks totalling $2890.50 have cleared. Which is it? I'm confused! And all you SOT members, I give you credit for having common sense. If anyone knows of a logical reason why I would continually bill for work that I have been paid for, please let me know. In fairness to Pete, I am going to send a copy of this post along with all invoices in an attempt to rectify this misunderstanding. I will expect payment in full or copies of the cancelled checks showing these invoices have been paid(in which case I will post them on the website with a complete apology). I thank you in advance Pete for you prompt attention to this matter. I will make my records available to anyone who wishes to see them including all correspondence both written and verbal(I kept notes). I have made copies of the previous post as libel is a serious crime. If anyone has any questions I will be more than happy to discuss them with you. I will keep you all informed as to the disposition of this matter.
Sincerely,
Bill Elliott
