I don't think anyone can make a valid arguement that searchers/abstractors can be replaced by technology. Here in New Jersey we employ local experienced searchers to manually abstract the public records and to aid in building the states first automated title plant. The automation is in terms of delivery to the customer not neccessarily in the search process itself. We are continually looking to add to our employee base and currently have a staff of 40+ searchers that were independent at one time. And just to clarify further, we have also brought in a handful of people that are working in the counties assisting the searchers that do not have prior experience. I applaud the foresight of anyone that can think outside of the box and see the potential for companies like Data Trace to work with searchers/abstractors to create future opportunities.
Thanks for reaading,
