Certification is a very important step for NALTEA. As I have been working with E&O companies to obtain a discount for certified members, I have am interest in designation. The certification must be meaningful, and not only designate a level of experience, but also incorporate some type of continuing education. The underwriter's of the E&O insurance want to be sure that we are keeping current with changes in the industry.
Let's hear from some others... what do you think makes an abstractor "qualified" to be designated as a certified abstractor?
