SOT is for everyone. We have an open directory and we don't censor the listings. Mainly because its free and we don't have the resources to investigate each company. Ultimately, it is the client's choice which abstractor they choose from our directory.
I don't think its right for me to choose which companies can lave listings and which ones can't. I allow my competition to have free listings, as well as clients we won't work for anymore due to various reasons; from payment issues to incompetence. Others here have recognized those same clients as their favorites. Many of those companies were on the "Hot List." It is too subjective for me to try to make decisions that limit participation in SOT .
We give everyone equal access and let the client choose who they want to work with. If they aren't satisfied they can choose someone else next time.
