Robin,
I am sorry you feel the way you do about the people on this forum. Perhaps you should just stay away if you feel we are morons. I am embarrassed to say that I took this course everyone is referring to. Yes Robert it is all the same company and I too wonder why it is being sold under so many names and addresses. I have warned against this course many times simply because it dangerous for anyone who takes it to believe they are ready to go out to work. The hardest part of learning this business is figuring out the in's and out's of the different state laws and the terms they use. Even in the same state it can be different. This course does teach the basics but to say that when you graduate you are ready to go out is ludicrous. It took a long time for me to get the courage to warn against this course. I felt pretty stupid spending that much money. Fortunately we had other mentors and trainers. Many of them right here on SOT.
I am beginning to wonder if my original warnings may be hurting business since there is so much vicious slamming going on... if that is the case it was worth the embarrassment. For those of you wondering why I even considered taking the course it was because we have done everything we could to make sure we were ready to do this. We have a responsibility to ourselves, our customers and those people who generally making the biggest purchase and investment in their lives. I would never recommend anyone wasting their money on an on line course. To compare them to a certified college course is crazy.
As for helping get E&O insurance? Has anyone noticed that the company that is recommended advertises on their website... and they do not issue insurance in some states including California. Are they also selling insurance?
Just another moron with an opinion.
Judy
