Amy - Im sorry I left off Experin - just wanted to give her something to go by. I accidentally thought the post date was the one above yours - on the 12th and you posted late on the14th. I just waited till the second day around 5ish (the 14th) and decided I would say something. Judy was really upset that everyone was ignoring her and I wanted to make her feel comfortable. I am not here to throw bad vibes around. That is not the purpose of the forum.
As far as vacation time - I have vacation time, I have days off every time the courthouse is closed - it is kind of nice - its like being a government employee - you know how jealous everyone is about them - I don't sit in traffic trying to get to your office by 8 oclock - I travel when the traffic is gone, when I want to travel and how I want to; if I want to stop and watch Ophra at 4:00 p.m. for a little break - well then I can do that - knowing its my business and I can do my work after the show; I have benefits - I even get to pick my own benefit package, my health policy premiums are written off as a business expense, I can put away 30% of my net income in retirement before taxes, I given myself a company car (do you provide that for your employees); let's see I can take my abstractor friends or clients out for lunch and write it off - business meeting. If any of my abstractors would like information on how to provide your benefits to yourself - please call. All good abstractors, independant or otherwise, have steady work - they are still in demand - because they are qualified, dependable and reliable - but I have to go right now - I am actually swamped - I just took a little break -
