Hi Jay, I reviewed it with them on Monday. Apparently the entire thing is left to a computer to assign out the searches, and to evaluate the searchers' performance for late returns and quality of search. They indicated that there was little if any human input.They did not seem to have an answer for me when I asked about additional time for problem searches. They sent a test order through to us that was supposed to arrive by fax as of Friday. It arrived on Saturday afternoon. Under the new system you have 24 hours to the minute to complete the search, and return it to them. If the search arrives late it cuts time off the 24 hour period, but the search is still due back within the original 24 hour time period...very little if any flexibility. In my conversation I was left with the impression that a lot of searchers are refusing to do it. We cancelled them out as a client on Monday. They were offering no additional compensation for the accelerated time or the business we would have to turn away to comply with the due date and time.
