I must agree with Ellen here, we have the same thing in Ohio. Most everything is online in all the counties we work in. The indexing online is not always the same as at the local courthouse, usually not as easy to manipulate. We have experienced examiners (10-20 years) locally who have gone almost entirely to online searching. I prefer going to the courthouse as we do a large percentage of complex searches that require research not available, or slower to access online. I do think more and more of the simple searches will go to online/overseas/thin-plant companies, but we have seen this happening for years, beginning many years ago with under-qualified examiners locally doing equity loan searches. I don't think we are in a naturally growth industry, and to make money we have to show expertise in what we do as individuals in the counties we know. Doug
