Yes I asked the 2 people that said they were put out of business if they actually were out of business or just thinking of it because I would help give them ideas if they were not. Local clientele are more valuable than a lot of people think and if you have background in legal procedures attorneys can be a great avenue and actually mine have always been great payers - put the check in the mail the day I do the order. Boy I have friends somewhere don't I - LOL. How much did you raise your rates percentage wise? I am writing all the County Commissioners and County Clerks within my territory and notifying them of the mess the online records are making of our legal documents and the affects it is having on local business and local attorneys. The ones that their AJs did not get collected at closing - if you cannot collect on an AJ in closing they are so hard to collect on and it affected an attorney - a local one- maybe one that was their friend - judges are attorneys - it hits them close to home and they will not like that at all. Pulling the revenue from the clerk's office for copies, etc affects us all locally and I think they will listen. I am going to put forth all the factual issues that I can - I worked for attorneys for years - they are "just give me the facts" - I'm sure all this online stuff has contributed to the property fraud I am so often seeing today - like I said there are so many issues that no one thought out too well before jumping the gun.
