There was a special on TV last night - KERA about Identity Theft and protection against it. It covered virus protection, computer shields, debits, ATMs, etc. The spokesperson asked how many people have refinanced their homes with the low-cost of refinancing - and notified the audience that their information etc could have been sent to foreign counties like India for processing, etc. All you heard was the entire audience gasping at that thought. The phones were ringing off the hook ordering the identity theft package being sold to raise money for KERA TV. Funny I rarely watch TV - except when I can slide Ophra into my day - but decided I was working too hard and turned the TV on. I talked to the clerks in Collin county about everything going on - they seemed very interested in everything and said tell the county clerk - what they say to her doesn't matter - it will only be when the counties are sued in the lawsuits I guess. I did meet a lady at Walgreens of all places that said she used to work at a county office and they did get sued for indexes being wrong. But we talked about records online and actually Dallas county has military records in the real property records which are really a danger to our country - not in vital records
