Having e&o is a requirement. And the certification ins only good for 3 years, then you must renew. Part of the renewal process is showing your continued e&o coverage.
Certification to abilities is different than e&o coverage yes. The test covers the abilities. The insurance coverage can attest to the type of business person you are. It covers you, the client and the borrowers as well. Shows you know you have a responsibility and know you are accountable for mistakes.
