We have no plans to limit the directory to only companies who do their searches at the courthouse. First we have no way to verify it. Second, it is up to the client to determine who they want to use. If they want only "courthouse" searches they should look for an abstractor who does that.
I like David's idea of providing a checkbox-type indication of whether or not companies rely on the courthouse's records or on-line records. However, this type of checkbox would only be relevant to "abstractors" and we have many other business types listed. Also, there are varying types of on-line records - some are the actual courthouse records and some are thin-title plant records. It would be difficult to distinguish between the two.
I recommend that if you would like to indicate in your listing that you provide "courthouse only" searches - you add that information to the "additional information" section of your listing.
