Mark,
I want to thank you for clarifying DataTrace's business model here in the Northeast. Not everyone that writes about Datatrace is as well informed as you are as they seem to think that every branch operates the same way. We currently employee 50+ people in our abstracting division here in NJ. We also outsource to approximately 10+ independent abstractors. The product that we produce today is completed manually, but as you know we are working towards automation and applying technology where we can. I would also like to thank you for informing the others that we price our product competitively. We often are accused of undercutting the competition but the truth is that we are in this business to make money just like everyone else, We know the value of this product and are not interested in giving it away. Here in NJ we do not "package" our product witth any other products or services nor do we use at as a loss leader.
I truly wish you luck in your future endeavors. I received the resume you sent last week but unfortunately because of previous issues my hands are tied. I think if things were different you would have been a tremendous asset to our company.
Amy
