As with any form of business, identify your P&L (Profit and Loss) statement regarding this particular client/product request.
Once done, consider their demands, your commitment of service and determine your potential profit margin.
I guess, if copying costs $1.00 and typing the report is free, consider it. However, if typing the report takes fifteen minutes of your time and you average $60.00/hour salary, then you just lost $14.00.
Finally, if they are DEMANDING this information be provided in this manner, review the above information, take all aspects of overhead into consideration and move forward.....REMEMBER, COST SHOULD NEVER DICTATE SERVICE. BUT, WE ALL ARE WORTH FAIR COMPENSATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!...JT
