I think it is simple. Don't give a discount to the VMC's. They are hurting your local clients. If they want to pay less than you charge your local clients, just say no. Don't do their work. If you are good at what you do, and quality is important to them, they will come back to you and pay your prices. If they just don't care about the quality of the work, you won't hear from them again, and who cares. If you want to be a professional, you have to just ignore some potential clients that put price and timelines above quality work. In good conscience, you can't work for both using different prices and turn times. It is not fair to the clients that value what we do.
