I agree. In my opinion 45 days is too long. I have had a couple of clients inform me by mail that they are "switching to a Net45 payment schedule." They don't call and ask me, they just change MY terms. I have accepted the arrangement, but I tell them that on day 46 if I don't have the payment on my desk ALL of their work gets put on hold until they pay.
I would like to know too. Why is it necessary to take more then 30 days to pay an invoice? You can't do that with your phone bill, electric bill, mortgage payment, etc. Why is it acceptable to pay abstractors any different?
