Is this search by address only or by name and address? Do you know how many inproperly prepared and filed assignments, releases, and other liens are filed with no address and no name - sometimes only deed of trust reference and/or legal. Someone tell me what they are doing with those - ignoring them - well these few thousand records won't matter - lol? I love it the best when they file them bank to bank in Dallas county - no legal, no names and a major bank. Which brings me to the thought I have always been wondering about - who in the heck are preparing these documents? I don't even think the lenders are taking the time or money to get just one prepared for proper legal form for each state - makes me think they are using online services for each state form - which I have inf act gone to one site and said where in the heck do you get in the state of Texas that you don't put a legal description in these documents - would you show me the legal reference you are using behind it because if we now have a form like that I would like to write the Commissioner Court Judges and tell them that they need to make the clerk index these according to what the law requires the document contains in order to find it. And in response to above-we aren't just talking UCC's - Judgments, child support liens in Texas - under an address - give me a break? The only thing that would work that way would be a homeowner's association lien because it would have the current address, obviously. Not too many people are responding and I'm sure the head of this association won't either - he hasn't answered any of our personal emails to him.
