Scott: That was not my point in all of this, It was mearly an alternative to your original post regarding your less than perfect conditions at one of the courthouses you frequent. The reason I am sharing this information is simple, we had exactly the same problems, conditions here in some of the counties also- long lines, broken machines, missing documents, indexes that were not what they should be, books with pages missing, in the wrong order, always was a test of ones ability to overcome the factors that are always present in an environment that has too many hands messing with it.
There will always be a better way to do things, and we all should be striving for that, one way or another- be it getting all the machines working, cut down on the public interference with abstractors, putting things back where they belong- or reporting something to the system administrator that is not correct- we all do that so tomorrow we can do it all over again-
I accept your position on this discussion, and I leave you with what you have and what we have down here- it works for both of us, and our clients in the end are the ones that benefit from these discussions.
I certainly do not have all the answers, that is why I am on here, trying to get the answers, and I have been asking title questions for a long time, don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
Thanks for the time you have taken to respond.
Steve
