Jay,
You are correct. SOT isn't the place to post NALTEA ethics complaints, but when you or one of the other members see a complaint, why don't you tell them where they can send a complaint to and let them know you will get back to them with the results after reviewing it with the board. And actually follow-up with it.
You see my words as an attack, when actually I'm trying to shed some light on some other possibilities. But you and your board members don't seem very receptive. What is that showing other possible members. You have to be open to any and all ideas. I just thought this may be one area that is stopping people from joining.
I am not trying to start a verbal war here. I have no complaints personally. Who do you feel the one member stopping me is? Because I have no beefs from anyone from NALTEA. Do you feel my statements are directed towards you or something personal like that? I'm trying to help you make a difference, but you don't seem to be open to other avenues.
These are some statements I've copied from this page alone......
"Both companies are listed here on SOT and one is a NALTEA member (I am not saying who so don't even ask). My conclusion is that if this company in Southern Ohio undercut me, obviously the Northern Ohio company (who they sub-contracted out to) was charging even LESS to get these searches. I think that is just terrible - are there NO ethics in this business????"....This one was from Michaela Urban/ OH and "I'm halfway tempted to name the company, as they are listed on SOT (and are a NALTEA member), but I think in this case, discretion is the better part of valor." from Scott Perry/ PA.
Let me know of one thing I've said negative and I wil take a better look at it, because I promise there is nothing personal on my end; just observations. Take it for what you want. I was just trying to help.
