Well... I guess it never hurts to ask.  Maybe I'll ask my examiners to take a 50% paycut.  I don't think any of them would agree to that, so I could never afford to work for those prices.  I find it hard to believe that any abstractor could.

Even when it was just me, working out of my house with very little overhead, I charged way more than that.
