John,
Your comments telling Michaela not to take it personally reminds me of the Godfather series. They would often tell their fellow members "it's not personal, it's just business" shortly before slitting their throats.
You suggest Michaela should work to become more efficient, but the efficiency of her work was never questioned, only her fees. You enthusiastically claim you are more efficient because of online access while studiously ignoring other aspects of efficiency such as accuracy and security of source information. Without the value aspects of efficiency, only convenience and cheap price remain.
Still, there are some who enthusiastically agree with you. I'll quote a few of them.
"We currently perform 25,000 searches a month in 400 counties.A title search requires more than just a trip to the court of records. Knowledge of Ownership gets quintessential. You also need to know who has placed a lien against the property " Infinity International Processing Service, Title Insurance Outsourcer, India, China and the Phillipines.
Don't take it personal John, it's just business.
Here are some others who don't seem to mind if the online sources are inaccurate or unsecure.
"We found the information on the county site", confessed identity thief, Hamilton, Ohio
"80% of the information we need we can find through public sources" Osama bin Laden
"It is almost obscene what you can find out about a person on the Internet", Liam Youens, stalker, two weeks before he murdered Amy Boyer.
Don't take it personal America, its just business.
