I'm not certain you know the definition of fascism. Is it fascism for the government to say "we are not going to require you to buy title insurance every time you refinance, but you can get a policy for yourself if you so choose?"
Or, is it fascist to say "you must buy title insurance every time you refinance."
Honestly... neither are "fascist," but I think one is clearly closer than the other.
Fascism is a political ideology and movement that is characterized by authoritarianism, ultranationalism, and militarism. Fascist regimes are revolutionary, advocating for the overthrow of existing systems of government and the persecution of political enemies. They can also be highly conservative in their championing of traditional values related to the role of women, social hierarchy, and obedience to authority.
