Fairfield County SC is closed... period.
Marlboro county SC is closed to the public.
York county only allows 2 abstractors in the computer room at a time, and we have 2 hours to do all the work we need to do... that is, unless they have changed because they now have 7 cases.
Lancaster county ROD isn't limiting the regular abstractors but Probate is closed to the public, but you can email them and they will check for deaths or send you an estate.
Dillon county ROD is still open to the public, but Probate is totally closed.
Marion County ROD requires you to make an appointment and limits you to 2 hours to do a search. That can be challenging since nothing is on the computers before 2003. Probate is a real time consumer... email me if you want to know about that one.
Chesterfield county is limiting abstractors to two at a time in the ROD... Probate is great... they won't let you in but Gail will check for deaths of current owners and send you the estates in the back chain. She's always been great for me.
I don't know about Chester , Union, Darlington and Lee counties since I haven't had orders for there lately.
