Good point Robert. If everyone would join NALTEA and agree to a set price we would have a little more clout. That's my opinion. Attacking Robert is not the way to go. He is doing the same thing we all are. He may have done more than we are doing, by offering SOT at what I think is bargain basement membership. What other organization can you join for $99 a year? An agreed on price for searches would be great if we could all agree to do it. Then the VM and title companies would have no choice but to pay our fees. They are as much to blame as we are for lowering our prices. They try to undercut their competition to get the work from the lenders and banks. Then they try to pass their pay cuts onto us, so far it's worked for them. We all know the $25 current owner searches are out there by the guy with 3 months of hard experience.
