Smith will have enterprise-wide responsibilities for driving growth and multi-brand strategies, as well as serving as executive sponsor of the company’s Leadership Forum, a program that develops successors for senior leadership roles. Prior to joining First American in 2024, Smith served as group president for a publicly traded title insurance underwriter, leading its title agency group.

Earlier in her career, Smith spent 12 years in public accounting with leading accounting firms, serving clients in the financial services and oil and gas industries. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
