You may want to also take a closer look and make sure these are not mortgage backed securities which can fall under a whole new set of problems for you. If they are multi-class securities you have lien priority to establish. Also contained in some commercial notes is the language that does actually convey ownership interest, so the LTD may very well be legitimate. You can read more in Georgia (33-11-51). Hope this helps.
