Easy enough if you are in a county where the federal court is located, I guess. But there are no federal courts in our counties. The Title Standards only call for a search of the federal courts if you are in a county where the federal court is located. I would imagine that they would be required to also file some type of documents in the county records if the federal court is not in that county, at least a notice of lis pendens.
I also wonder how they can get that into federal court? Federally insured mortgages maybe? It is interesting. I haven't heard anything about this yet, but I will keep my eye out. Thanks for the heads-up.
