That was a good article Robert. Unfortunately they gave credit to the state for acting quickly when in fact they didn't.

The Virginia Watchdog) discovered Trump's Social Security number on the state site years ago. She notified NY authorities and Trump's staff. She also notified MSNBC but the state only reacted when they were faced with mass media exposure of what they have been doing for four years.
"Sombke said the state is “investigating a number of solutions” that it
hopes will address the right of personal privacy and the right to view
public records."
There is no right to view documents online in spite of claims to the contrary. The American people have a constitutional right to be "secure in their papers". If NY puts the images back online they will be ignoring the rights of their citizens in favor of a non-existent right of outsiders to search and seize their papers.
