There was an interesting item on this morning's news. The State of Connecticut recently released a prisoner after DNA testing proved that he did not commit the crime for which he was convicted. He had spent eighteen years in prison . They had no DNA testing technology at the time he was convicted.
The State has offered him compensation of only $500,000.00 for eighteen years of his life. Guess the State perceives life to be cheap.
