Thanks all for your responses. Gas prices here in southwestern PA are hovering around $2.65 to $2.70 per gallon, of which roughly 50¢ goes to pay the various taxes imposed upon the motoring public of our great Commonwealth. Rob's post of $2.45 per gallon in Ohio, which is the proverbial "stone's throw" away from us, is about what I expected.
Business has been mostly steady through 2007. We've been doing a lot of refi and foreclosure work lately, although we've noticed an increase in demand for full titles in the last month. I may not be lighting cigars with $20 bills, but we're not hurting for business here, either.
