We have found that when the client is told about a $10 rush fee the urgency fades. Heaven forbid they pay an additional $10 for same day service.
We often complete orders the same day we recieve them anyway, only to have the client sit on the results for a week before they even look at what we sent.
On the rare occasions that we actually charge a rush fee the client doesn't pay it anyway.
