David: I have used this for a few years now and it is a valuable tool to add to the title searching arsenal- and it makes the clients very happy to get a photo along with their search request. I have used both the  free and the $20 version with little or no difference noticeable. It is important to note that the view you are seeing can be many years old- in my area I have checked that a road I drive on is shown as still being widened and that project was completed a number of years ago- another is one where I lived about 7 yrs ago, shows the car I was driving at that time- I have not even had that car for a number of years now too, so the way to check up on how current it is would be to go look at something you know very well and check for any changes that you know of-
I enjoy just going to "look" at different places- go find airports, mining fields in South America-nuclear power stations , the volcanoes on the big island of Hawaii are visible too- then try to find more- it is a terrific way to pass time also- while waiting to the next title order to come in or the mail man to deliver that long awaited check from XYZ company that has been promising payment for months.
