Actually, as long as an attorney is available during the closing, it can be done in the borrowers home. LSI has several SC attorneys they work with, and you call into them when you get to the borrowers home or office, the attorney goes over a few things with the borrowers, the notary takes over, and then the attorney finishes up over the phone. This all being perfectly legal in SC.
