Sharon,
I am with you on this. And, this cost reduction has cost a bit of business as well. However, if we agree to $8.00 this week it will be $10.00 next week. On the bright side we had one company that sent us roughly 30 orders per month stop sending us work when I refused the pay reduction of $5.00 per search. Monday of last week I got an email form Vendor Managment, asking if we would once again do their work. I agreed but explained due to high fuel cost we have since raised our cost $7.50 per search. And we got the work back. The bottom line here everybody is looking for a bargain, but "THE BITTERNESS OF CHEAP RICE LAST MUCH LONGER THAN THE SWEETNESS OF THE LOW PRICE"
