Yes, we get them back in the end too.  Today we got a call from one of our good clients, demanding a satisfaction on a mortgage.  I assumed they wanted a document retreival, but when I looked there wasn't a satisfaction, the mortgage was open, not even assigned.  I called the client.  The vendor manager then demanded to know why, if it was open, hadn't I reported on my search.  I politely advised her that WE hadn't done a search on this property for her.  She says, OH, let me look.  After my valuable time on hold, she comes back and says--I guess you'll be doing that county for us too from now on.
