I understand your frustration. I agree with Steve in showing the client the indices that you are checking. I am sure once you explain to the clerk that you need a copy to show your client that they will allow you to make your copies. Especially since you have been in those court houses so much.
I would have your attorney draft the certified letter "a growl letter", lets those know you mean business, especially when it comes from an attorney. I would back sure you have the evidence and those willing to testify to back up the slandering, prior to taking any legal action.
However, I would not post fliers. I believe that would cause more problems than it would solve.
