We understand your frustration at that time.
We know there were issues with accounting several years ago
where we had an employee that stole 10's of thousands of dollars from us here
at ATA - Atlanta Title Abstractors. We worked really hard to recover from
there and paid all of the outstanding payments to the abstractors and all that
we owed in general. At the time all of that went on, our abstractors had
agreed to be paid 90 days out. Since then, we have been going strong and
changed our Payment structure to our Abstractors. They are now paid for
last months orders on the 15th of the next month. That is when checks are
mailed. We have very valuable Abstractors that have been with us for many
years. They are truly the hero's and we appreciate them greatly.
As for the urgency of the work, we strive to have our work back to the client in a 24-48 hour TAT when all possible. Meaning we need the order back in to our office so we can type the order up and send to the client.
I hope this sheds some light on what was going on at that time.
Thank you!
