That is true, but easy to understand. Complaining is FREE! A strike, on the other hand, would costs abstractors dearly. Most cannot afford to lose a client, let alone all of them! Voluntarily ceasing work for all of your clients to prove a point would not help the abstractors pay their bills. There is no union to help provide a stipend during a prolonged strike. And, of course, all it would do is enrich the many abstractors who would not participate because they would suddenly have more work than they could handle.... most likely, even at a premium.
It would be nice to see, though... it's just not a realistic possibility.
