Well....I am going to ask a lot of you here...for a moment try to think beyond labels and to explore beyond the question of whether someone is a Republican.
Your insults do not impress me...there's no need to get personal here. Here's what you left out:

Sounds like the author is saying that the Crusades were defensive wars to me.
