Just read an interesting piece by Peter Schweizer in the Philadelphia Examiner about a series of surveys by Pew Research, the World Values Survey and others which reveal an "honesty gap" between liberals and conservatives. What I found interesting was the author's observation that the "honesty gap" is due to the fact that the ideology of modern liberalism is based on the concept that truth is relative. In other words, it's not dishonest people who become liberals; rather, it's liberalism that makes people dishonest.
