Temper, temper, temper. One can not debate logically when one allows himself to become provoked to anger. Let us not cast aspersions, but rather try to keep the discussion on an objective and even keel.
I have not attempted to redirect the debate, but rather simply responded to your generalizations concerning your preferred party..."the party of reform"..."Democrat have always been on the wrong side of history where civil rights is concerned." Personally I do not think either party did much until it had to. Your preferred party had ample opportunity to effectuate reform even if "...it takes many years and sometimes decades to manifest itself." Despite the voting histories you cite...where are the results...not the excuses for failure to deliver?
