Sorry Robb, but just because you are willing to accept payment terms of 90 days from your clients, doesn't mean that you should expect your vendors to wait 90 days for payment. Net30 is a well established practice for abstractors. I would never work for a client that does not adhere to my payment terms - I don't care what arrangement they have with their clients. My terms are Net30.
The "we pay our abstractors when we get paid" policy is ludicrous. It is not a problem for you to tolerate Net90 terms from your clients because you are forcing the inconvenience of "late" payment on your abstractors. That just isn't right.
