We worked for Grand Info. for at least a year. In the beginning, the company was excellent to work for, work was fairly steady and we were paid timely. That changed however, when without notice they went to a 90 pay period. I contacted them to let them know that, especially in this slowed economy, I could not wait for payment (or to pay my abstractors for work already done) for ninety days. They let me know there was nothing they could do, this was new accounting policy.
I immediately stopped taking orders from Grand Info and severed our working relationship with the company. That was last year. I have only in the last few months finally received all the back payments owed to my company.
I advise caution before taking work from any company without references. In this slow market, it is even more critical that we know who we are working for, and can depend on timely payment for timely services.
