I'm sorry but anything that is invoiced and not paid within the agreed amount of time (between abstractor and company) is almost like stealing. I know that's hard but let's face it, we all have bills to pay and I'm not going to do any title work today unless the companies I work with stick to the plan on how they pay me. After Express Financial and their crooked, ignorant owners, I'm not taking any chances. They have beautiful homes and Mercedes Benz. I knew when I got in this buisness in 1996 that I would be paid 30 days after I invoiced, whether I invoiced a client per search or monthly. I'm not a w-2 employee that expects to be paid weekly. There is no excuse in the great blue sky that it shouldn't be done that way.
I don't know anything about Grand Info Inc. but I am just posting it right here because it is a hot topic, right or wrong, about some billing issues. LIke I have said before, I always paid my help before I paid myself. There is not one abstractor that would not come back and work with me. I can sleep at night.
